mid January to all those on our database. If you did not get a
copy and would like one, please use the 'Contact Us' navigation button
to the left or at the bottom
of this page and indicate
that you would like the newsletter mailed to you. Please leave

January 23,
2010 - Electronic Tax Preparation Seminar
There will be an electronic tax preparation seminar at 1:00pm
in Classrooms 3 and 4 on the lower level of the Proctor Professional
Building at 5401 N. Knoxville in Peoria. Bob Picton, an AARP Tax Aide,
will demonstrate some of the features available for electronic tax
preparation using TurboTax software. Registration is not required for
this event.
February 13, 2010 - Open House with Q&A
For those new to computers or to SeniorNet, there will be a
SeniorNet Open House at 10:00am in Classroom 4 of on the lower level of
the Proctor Pr ofessional
Building at 5401 N. Knoxville in Peoria. The open
house will
consist of a short introduction to SeniorNet and then a question and
answer period. If you have any questions about SeniorNet or
SeniorNet classes, buying a
computer, which operating system to use, what software programs you need
or any other computer or digital camera questions, this is the place to
get them answered. Registration is required for this event. Please use the
'Contact Us' navigation button at the bottom of this page and supply the
names and the number of people who will attend. If you have questions,
call 309-682-7801. Students may also register for spring classes after
the Open House.
February 20, 2010 - Spring Class Registration
For those already familiar with SeniorNet, spring class
registration will be held any time from 9:00am to 11:00am in Classrooms
3 and 4 on the lower level of the Proctor Professional Building at 5401
N. Knoxville in Peoria.
March 2010 - Spring Classes Begin
Spring classes will begin the week of March 15 and end the
week of May 3. Individual class dates may need to be adjusted based on
weather events.
August 14, 2010 - Fall Class Registration
Fall class registration will be held any time from 9:00am to
11:00am in Classrooms 3 and 4 on the lower level of the Proctor
Professional Building at 5401 N. Knoxville in Peoria.
September 2010 - Fall Classes Begin
Fall classes will begin the week of September 13 and end the week of
November 1.
