SeniorNet
will sponsor a seminar on Electronic Tax Preparation at 1:00PM at the
new Peoria Public Library North Branch at
3001
W. Grand Parkway west of Allen Road near Walmart
in Peoria. Bob Picton, an AARP Tax
Aide, will conduct the session using TurboTax software to demonstrate
how tax preparation software can help you. However, the
information presented is also applicable to any other electronic
tax preparation software.

SeniorNet will hold an open house at 10:00AM at the First
Baptist Church at 411 West Lake Avenue in Peoria. There will be a short presentation on SeniorNet
followed by a question and answer session which is designed to answer
student questions about computers and classes.
Students will also be able to register for spring classes.

Registration for spring classes will take place at 10:00AM at
the First Baptist Church at 411 West Lake Avenue in Peoria. The newsletter with
registration materials will be mailed to students on our mailing list in late January, 2012.

March 12, 2012
Spring classes will begin the week of March 12. Most classes
will meet once a week for eight weeks and will be 1.5 hours long. Classes
will end the week of May 1.

open house will start with a brief presentation on SeniorNet and then
move to a question and answer format to provide students with useful
information about computers and classes. Students may also
register for fall classes at the end of the open house.
